B-U-L-L-D-O-G Pride...

Here's a picture of Taylor at the boys Basketball game. She participated in the Bulldog Cheer Clinc. THey got to do a routine at halftime. Taylor was so excited because she was chosen to be the "flyer" on top of the pyramid. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of her in that pose because Derrick took the picture (of the WRONG SET of girls!) He'll never live that down. Oh well! Here she is as cute as can be.

Wrestling days...

Our wrestling days are over (for the 8th grade , that is) . Jake had a good season and we're all very proud of him. I can't believe how much he "bulked" up in just a few months. He really gave it his all this year. His weight class was 140 lbs. I have to add, that mommy did good this season too. I didn't flip out, cry, or panic. I think that's because Jake can hold his own now.... just check out his muscles!

Daddy Sandwich....

The other night we were all hanging out in the living room and the kids decided to make a "daddy sandwich." I think Jake was afraid he might hurt someone if he jumped on top, so he just sat over to the side. It was pretty comical!

Going to see Santa...

It's a tradition..... going to see Santa. This year the triplets were so excited! This picture will be a very special one for us.... because Santa has retired to rest at the North Pole. My favorite memory about today is Broc. He looked at Santa and said, "Santa, I want a ship. " The other kids started talking and Broc said, " Um, that's a boat!" I guess he thought Santa wouldn't know what a ship was, so he had to make sure he was understood!

The triplets turn four...

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY MARTIN TRIPLETS! We celebrated with family at Grandma Gert's house. It was a really nice party and the kids were so excited! It's hard to believe it's been four years already. Time sure does fly. I thank GOD everyday for blessing me with those little ones. I never dreamed I'd be a mom of triplets. They have taught Derrick and I so much. Oh, the stories I'll have to tell when I'm a grandma!

On this day I also think of baby ^d^ who wasn't blessed to make the journey with the other three. I know he/she is in spirit watching over us.

Picking "just the right tree"

Every year we go to the tree farm and pick a real tree. Usually Derrick has the final say in which one we bring home. This year he let the kids pick and to our surprise, they chose a small one with a skinny trunk. It was so small we had trouble getting it to stay in the tree stand. That was after we had to fight with Broc who kept wanting ones that had were as tall as his knee! Derrick says next year he's back to making the final decision. We had fun and are looking forward to next year.
