This is the new me. We arranged for our Mom's Group at Head Start to get "mommy makeovers" at Lafayette Beauty Academy the Saturday on Mother's Day weekend. Our mom's were allowed to choose two or three services for a discounted price of 7.00. We were very fortunate to have a donation come through and were able to cover the price of around 16 mommy makeovers. I had planned on getting a hair cut and then Vicki said, " Jenn, you need to do something drastic." So I did. I've worn the same hair do for probably 8 years. It was my "mommy do." I got out of bed, washed my hair, blew it dry and put it in a pony tail. I didn't have much time or energy to mess with it. And it's always been curly. So, Mia, the girl who cut my hair encouraged me to go shoulder length, add some long bangs, and flat iron it. I absolutely LOVE it! I feel like a new woman.... and I even get up extra early to fix it. At first I was nervous about the change, but after all of the compliments I get, I realize that this change was good... and needed. And guess what... I can wash it, add some gel, pull it back and it looks cute... curly, but cute!

Frick and Frack....
Tee Ball...
Ah, what can I say about T-ball. It is one of the funniest things to watch. Those little kids have no idea what's going on. Opening day was so cold... Aubrey cried most of the time and Cain would chase the runner from 1st base to 2nd (even though he didn't have a ball!) It was so cute and between me, grandma Sheila and Mi-Mi Barb... we captured the first game pictures quite well.

Memories...
I love this picture. Matter of fact I'm going to do something unique with this picture... I'm just not sure what. The kids were walking back to the car after playing at the park and I just started snapping pictures. It made me think of memories. One day they'll look back at this picture and remember the sun on their face and the fun that they had playing with each other.
Playing around...
I've been tagged...
I've been tagged...so here are my answers.
Where I was ten years ago today... I guess I would have been a week away from turning 23. I know "where" I was and I don't choose to remember it.
Five things I need to do today... We'll it's Friday and I only had to work until 10am Whoo Hoo! So, today I have/need to:
* work at Head Start
* finish up the laundry
* finish palnning a surprise party
* get Jake's pants ready for his first dance tomorrow
* work on getting garage sale stuff ready
Five snacks I enjoy:
* banana peppers
*cheese
*chips and salsa
* pizza dip and breadsticks
* does Mt. Dew count?
If I were a billionaire I would: This is easy because Derrick and I talk about this. Of course he says he hopes it never happens because I give away all of the money!
* I would make sure my kids and all of my nieces and nephews have college funds.
* Build my new house complete with an indoor playground. Outside we would have a pool and hot tub.
* Buy my brother a house so he has a permanent home.
* Help out my friends.
* Build a Huge Head Start so all of Clinton County children could benefit from our services.
*Build and run an unwed/pregnant mothers home.
* Become a foster parent for mildly handicapped children.
Five bad habits:
*organizing freak
* paper perfectionist
* whining until I get my way
*measuring the distance beween the couch and the curtains
*not filling up my gas tank and expecting my husband to do it.
5 places I've lived:
* Frankfort
*Darlington
* Forest
* Michigantown
5 jobs I've had:
*mother
*wife
*daycare
*teacher
*family advocate
