Creative minds...

The kids decided to take a plain, ordinary box and turn it into a pirate ship complete with a broon oar. Pretty clever huh? And the best part was, it provided hours of fun!

The Big Day...

These are pictures of Justin and Courtnay's wedding. The triplets were asked to be in the wedding party and they did fantastic. Pictures inclued: rehearsal, Aubrey getting her hair styled, and the wedding day. Not to brag, but we have beautiful children!

Daddy's little girls...

In this picture you'll find Derrick reading to his little Princess. Aubrey is the biggest girly-girl I know. She eats, sleeps and dreams beauty. She tells us all the time she's just like Cinderella. She's so excited because next Spring Break were going to Disneyworld and were taking her and Taylor to eat dinner at Cinderella's Castle. SHe reminds herself often that after she turns five, she's going to meet Cinderella. It's too cute.

Father's Day Fun...

Here are somw pictures from our Father's Day cook-out hosted by Aunt Shannon. The kids had so much fun! OF the triplets, Aubrey is the water baby. She'll jump in and swim all around with her water wings on. It takes Cain a while to used to the water and then he'll take off. Broc is the one who goes up and down the ladder the whole time he's out there.

Thanks Aunt Shannopn for a day of fun. We're looking forward to the 4th of July!

Weeekend Camping Trip...

This weekend we went camping at CharlaRose near Crawfordsville. Some friend's of ours have a permanent camp site there and they invited us down for the weekend. So early Saturday morning we packed up and made the trip there. We had such a blast! The kids had fun roasting hot dogs, canoeing with daddy, playing with Aaron (Tom and Angie's son) and making new friends. Camping is a so inexpensive and a great way to spend time with family and friends. Memories were definitely made this weekend. Thank you Tom and Angie for inviting us down..we'll have to come again soon! And Thank You Aaron for providing some great entertainment for the kids... you'll make a great Dad some day!

A new me...

This is the new me. We arranged for our Mom's Group at Head Start to get "mommy makeovers" at Lafayette Beauty Academy the Saturday on Mother's Day weekend. Our mom's were allowed to choose two or three services for a discounted price of 7.00. We were very fortunate to have a donation come through and were able to cover the price of around 16 mommy makeovers. I had planned on getting a hair cut and then Vicki said, " Jenn, you need to do something drastic." So I did. I've worn the same hair do for probably 8 years. It was my "mommy do." I got out of bed, washed my hair, blew it dry and put it in a pony tail. I didn't have much time or energy to mess with it. And it's always been curly. So, Mia, the girl who cut my hair encouraged me to go shoulder length, add some long bangs, and flat iron it. I absolutely LOVE it! I feel like a new woman.... and I even get up extra early to fix it. At first I was nervous about the change, but after all of the compliments I get, I realize that this change was good... and needed. And guess what... I can wash it, add some gel, pull it back and it looks cute... curly, but cute!
